The IDSync connector for Microsoft Cloud consists of two modules:

  • IDSync for Azure AD

  • IDSync for O365

These modules are sold separately.  

IDSync for Azure AD allows a subscriber to synchronize metadata and passwords from his on-premise Active Directory users and groups with one or more Microsoft Azure AD tenants.

IDSync for O365 builds upon IDSync for Azure AD and includes all of the features of IDSync for Azure AD but also includes provisioning and configuration of O365 accounts.

This user guide includes instruction on the use of both IDSync for Azure AD and IDSync for O365.  If you are subscribed for IDSync for Azure AD but not for IDSync for O365, the O365 options shown in this guide will not be available to you.
