Account override provides the ability to associate a user with a company based on the value in a specific AD field. Normally, a user is associated to the default company specified by the Autotask configuration on the “Connection Settings” subtab. (see Configuration for Autotask API )

Setup Override
Stop the IDSync service on the “Service” tab
Go to the “Autotask” tab and then the “Account Override” subtab
Click “Add” button to add a new line
Type in the name of the AD field that will be the field to monitor
Type in the AD field value that will trigger the action and link to a specific Autotask Account
Type in the Autotask Account ID that will be the object of the override
Click the “Apply” button
Go to the “Service” tab and restart the IDSync service
