Single System as DC and Syncronizer Service

When using a single system where Identity Syncronizer is installed on the DC, there is no need to deploy the agent and you cannot use the IDSync Management Studio Agent tab to install the agent.

Since the base install has already installed all the software it is just a matter of performing configuration to complete the install.

Install the Agent Service

Log into the remote server with proper admin-level credentials.

Open the Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32, locate the Agent.DLL file and rename it (the system won't let the user to delete the file, just to rename it).

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Identity Syncronizer\ , locate the application named Syncronizer.Agent.Config.exe, right-click on it and "Run as administrator"

Make sure the "Enable Syncronization" checkbox is checked, then click the "Install" button.

A message showing that the Service Installation was completed will appear.

The server must be rebooted for the service to be correctly started.
