Options to buy Subscriptions and Features in Ingram Micro - Marketplace

This document describes different alternatives that Customers and Resellers have to buy our products at Ingram Micro’s Marketplace.

Please, follow the next guide if you're trying to:

1.- Buy a new subscription using the Ingram Micro's Marketplace

2.- Buy a new subscription using the Ingram Micro's Control Panel (example of Reseller buying a new service for themselves)

3.- Buy a new subscription for a Customer using the Reseller's Control Panel

Step-by-step guide



Option 1: Using the IM’s Marketplace (http://www.ingrammicrocloud.com/)


1.1.- Make sure you’re in the correct Marketplace. In case you need to, you may change the location using the flag at the top-right corner. There, you’ll find a list of all flags. Click on the flag corresponding to your region.

1.2.- Log in using your IM’s username and password.

1.3.- Go to Cloud Services > Cloud Management Services > IDSync-Identity Synchronizer.

1.4.- Scroll-down and look for the ‘Select’ button (you can choose to choose between Reseller or Customer plans depending on who are you purchasing this for).

1.5.- Select the duration period for your plan, and look for the product that best accommodates your needs.

1.6.- Then, you’ll find other options (such as QuickStart services or additional seats) that you can add to your Shopping cart.

1.7.- When you’re ready, click on the ‘Continue’ button to add the current selection to your Cart.

1.8.- Choose to Continue Shopping, or Proceed to Check Out your purchase.





Option 2: Using the IM’s Control Panel (Resellers buying their own subscriptions)


2.1.-  Log into the Reseller's Control Panel in the Ingram Marketplace. 

    


Then, go to the My Subscriptions tab

and click on the Buy More Services menu option:


2.2.- You will be presented with a list of all of the available subscriptions from the Ingram Marketplace. Scroll down the list until you find the ID Sync Identity Syncronizer menu option. 

Select it as shown:


2.3.- Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Next button.


2.4.- Next you will be prompted for whether you want to purchase an IDSync connector for a reseller or for a customer. You will want the IDSync Connector for Resellers as shown:


Again, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Next button to continue:

2.5.- You will then be prompted to select the term for which you wish to subscribe to IDSync.  Select the appropriate term and then click the Next button:



2.6.- You will be presented with a terms and conditions page.  You will need to accept the Ingram Micro terms by clicking the checkbox and accept the IDSync terms by clicking a second checkbox.  Then click the Next button to continue:


2.7.- You will be presented with an order information page as shown below.  Click on the Order Additional Resources tab:

2.8.- You will be presented with a list of the different IDSync feature sets that you can subscribe to. 

        Select the desired product (that pertains to your PSA system). In this example, we are selecting the "IDSync - Autotask Billing" (to use with Autotask as your PSA system). Then click the choose category button as shown below.




2.9.- Once you have selected the product that pertains to your PSA system, you will be presented with more options. For our example, we show they -"IDSync - (Autotask/Connectwise) Billing integration for IM Marketplace" and the -"Quick Start for (Autotask/Connectwise) Billing. Select the correct option for the product you need, and click the Modify Resource Amount button as shown:




2.10.- You will then be presented with a screen where you can change the resource count. There are a bunch of blanks and checkboxes on this screen. You need to review and change the options (to match your requirements) as shown below.


2.11.- Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Next button to continue:




2.12.- Now you will be presented with an order summary page.  Check that the item listed appears correct and that the monthly price is correct.  Then click the Place Order button:



2.13.- Finally, a provisioning screen will be displayed.  It will show that the subscription is being provisioned.  This screen may update to eventually show you that the order is complete.  Generally it take less than 10 minutes for the new IDSync subscription to be activated.  



2.14.- You can check whether your new IDSync subscription is available by exiting the Control Panel and reopening control panel.  The IDSync subscription should be listed in the dropdown box in the top righthand corner:



Once you have completed these steps, you are ready to download and install the new IDSync software.  





Option 3: Using the Reseller’s Control Panel.

3.1.- Log into your Reseller Control Panel.

And, click ‘Billing’ (in the top right-hand side menu).

3.2.- Navigate to Operations > Customers. And, click on the Account Name link for the customer whose account you would like to add subscriptions to.

3.3.- Click on the ‘Orders’ Tab, and then click ‘Add New Order’.

3.4.- Click on the magnifying glass icon beside the Service Plan field (a new window pops up displaying the available service plans).

3.5.- Look for the Identity Synchronizer – Connectors for Customer service plan, and click on its Name.

Then, select the Subscription’s Period.

  

Then, click on the ‘Next’ button to proceed.

3.6.- Note that at this point, you have a “generic” subscription, not a specific product to match your needs. So, you have to click on ‘Order Additional Resources’.

3.7.- Choose a Resource Category (based on the product you’re looking for), and click on the ‘Choose Category’ button.

3.8.- Choose the Resource, then click on ‘Modify Resource Amount’.

3.9.- Select the Additional amount you require, then click ‘Next’.

3.10.- You may choose to look for Additional Resources (other products or services you need), or, simply click ‘Place Order’ to Check Out your purchase (after which, the Order needs to be provisioned, and it will appear in your Customer’s Control Panel, ready to be used).



Option 4: Using the Customer’s Control Panel.

Follow these steps if you don't have a valid subscription yet:


4.1.- Log into the Customer's Control Panel and navigate to the Marketplace tab.

4.2.- Look for and click on ‘CLOUD ENABLEMENT SERVICES’

4.3- Look for 'ID SYNC IDENTITY SYNCRONIZER' in the list of products, and click on it

4.4.- Then, you'll see the Identity Synchronizer - Connector for Customer. 

Scroll down the page, and select the Subscription Period, and click Next

4.5.- Note that at this point, you have a “generic” subscription, not a specific product to match your needs. So, navigate through the list of available resources, and select one or more of them, by changing the number of Users that you'll be administering in your environment.

4.6.- Then, scroll down, find and click on the FINISH button to check out your purchase (after which, the Order needs to be provisioned, and it will appear in your Customer’s Control Panel, ready to be used).

Option 5: Adding resources to an Existing Subscription.

Follow these steps if you already have a valid subscription:


5.1.- Log into the Customer's Control Panel and navigate to the Account tab.

5.2.- Click on the Subscriptions link.

And, look for the Subscription that you want to add resources to:

5.3. Scroll down the page and locate the link to "Change Resource Limits".

5.4.- Navigate through the list of available resources, and select one or more of them, by changing the number of Users that you need in your environment. 

Note that you'll be able to see the currently active resources that you have associated with that subscription.

5.5. Click OK to confirm the change 



Ingram Micro recomends that Cloud resellers place most orders for their customers through the Cloud Marketplace. However, as an alternate method to place orders there's an option through the Reseller Control Panel.
